Le Supérieur provincial, du consentement de son Conseil,
peut convoquer une Assemblée provinciale réunissant soit tous les membres de la Province,
soit leurs représentants.
Sa tâche est de réfléchir à la situation de la Province et de formuler
des directives et des plans d’action (Constitutions CICM, art. 90).
La Province CICM d'Amérique latine et des Caraïbes - Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) - a tenu son Assemblée provinciale du 20 au 29 avril. Mgr Philibert Tembo Nlandu, C. I. C. M., évêque de Budjala (RD Congo), a facilité ladite Assemblée à la Casa Arquidiocesana María de la Altagracia, à Santo Domingo, en République dominicaine.
Pour accomplir la mission confiée à la CICM en Amérique latine et dans les Caraïbes, les délégués à l'Assemblée provinciale de 2022 ont défini les priorités missionnaires suivantes :
1. Les Migrants
2. La formation des laïcs
3. La pastorale des jeunes
4. Justice, paix et intégrité de la création
En préparation du 16ᵉ Chapitre général de la CICM qui se tiendra au Centro Ad Gentes, Rome, Italie, du 4 au 30 juin 2023, l'Assemblée provinciale de LAC a également élu les délégués et les substituts:
1. Márcio Flávio Martins, Supérieur provincial, délégué d'office
2. Anaclet Mukendi Mpunga, délégué élu
3. Hendrikus Hardum, délégué élu
4. Wilson De Jesus Medes, délégué élu
5. Angel Vidal Ludan, premier substitut
6. Jospin Wetunu Gbamosapa, deuxième substitut
7. Charitable Dérisseau, troisième substitut
Ont le droit et le devoir d’assister au Chapitre général:
a) en raison de leur fonction:
1° le Supérieur général et ses Conseillers;
2° les Supérieurs des Provinces et Districts autonomes qui ont au moins 20 membres à la date de la convocation du Chapitre;
b) en raison de leur élection:
les délégués élus par leur Province ou par leur District autonome;
c) en raison d’une nomination:
trois confrères au maximum que le Supérieur général peut nommer, du consentement de son Conseil. (Constitutions CICM, art. 113).

The Provincial Superior, with the consent of his Council,
may convene a Provincial Assembly,
bringing together either the entire membership of the Province or its representatives.
Its task is to reflect on the state of the Province and to formulate
guidelines and plans of action (CICM Constitutions, Art. 90)
The CICM Province of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) held its Provincial Assembly from April 20 to 29. Msgr. Philibert Tembo Nlandu, C. I. C. M., Bishop of Budjala (DR Congo), facilitated the Assembly at Casa Arquidiocesana María de la Altagracia, Santo Domingo, in the Dominican Republic.
To carry on the mission entrusted to CICM in Latin America and the Caribbean, the delegates to the 2022 Provincial Assembly defined the following missionary priorities:

In preparation for the 16th CICM General Chapter in Rome, Italy, at the Centro Ad Gentes from June 4 to 30, 2023, the LAC Provincial Assembly also elected the delegates and the substitutes.

Confreres who have the right and duty to attend the General Chapter are:
a) by right of their office:
- the Superior General and his Councilors;
- the Superiors of the Provinces and Autonomous Districts which have at least twenty members on the date of the convocation of the Chapter;
b) by right of their election:
the delegates elected by their Province or Autonomous District;
c) by right of an appointment:
a maximum of three confreres whom the Superior General, with the consent of his Council, can appoint.(CICM Constitutions, Art. 113)

The CICM Asia Province held its Provincial Assembly from November 23 to 25. It started with a short recollection guided by Father Márcio, the Provincial Superior of Latin America and Caribbean (LAC), on the theme, “Many Nations, one Province, One mission. Msgr. Prudencio Padilla Andaya Jr., C.I.C.M., Vicar Apostolic of the Apostolic Vicariate of Tabuk, facilitated the Assembly. The Provincial Structures, the leadership, and the Initial Formation were the main topics addressed during the 2021 Asia Provincial Assembly. The following excerpt of the prayer for this Assembly gives a glimpse of its aim:
Dear Abba Father,
Help us to discover and to focus upon
your presence rather than on our problems.
Time and again redirect our attention to your
promise to be with us in this fascinating continent…
Give, dear Abba Father, that through our
missionary endeavors we may become a
credible image of your life-giving presence in Asia.

La Province CICM d’Asie a tenu son Assemblée provinciale du 23 au 25 novembre. Elle a commencé par une courte récollection guidée par le Père Márcio Flávio Martins, le Supérieur provincial de Latin America and Caribbean (LAC), sur le thème « Plusieurs nations, une Province, une mission ». Mgr Prudencio Padilla Andaya Jr, C.I.C.M., Vicaire apostolique du Vicariat apostolique de Tabuk, a modéré l’Assemblée. Les structures provinciales, le leadership et la Formation initiale ont été les principaux sujets abordés lors de l’Assemblée provinciale d’Asie 2021. L’extrait suivant de la prière pour cette Assemblée donne un aperçu de son objectif :
Père Abba,
aide-nous à découvrir et à nous focaliser sur votre présence plutôt que sur nos problèmes.
Redirige sans cesse notre attention sur ta
promesse d’être avec nous sur ce continent fascinant…
Donne, Père Abba, qu’à travers nos
efforts missionnaires, nous puissions devenir une
image crédible de ta présence vivifiante en Asie.
